He then said we could have a BBQ, and everyone could donate a blanket. The response was overwhelming; thank you all for your donation," he said.  "Hopefully, it will let people know that there are homeless people and families out there struggling and needing help."  When asked about the donations, Stephen's positivity shone through.   "Always happy with donations, as I always say something is better than nothing," he said.   The riders' journey through Victoria Street in Bunbury to the In Town Centre and Shoestring Cafe was filled with memorable moments.   "Riding our motorcycles through Victoria Street in Bunbury, making heaps of noise before going to the In Town Centre, Shoestring Cafe to drop off the blankets," Stephen said, recalling one of his favourite moments from the event.  Looking to the future, Stephen confirmed ongoing commitment to the Blanket Ride.   "As it has been going for 10 years and is an annual event, we plan to keep doing it for as long as we can," he said.  - ![The Pipeline July Blg photos6](https://sustainability.monadelphous.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/The%20Pipeline%20July%20Blg%20photos6.jpg?width=600&height=338&name=The%20Pipeline%20July%20Blg%20photos6.jpg) - ![The Pipeline July Blg photos5](https://sustainability.monadelphous.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/The%20Pipeline%20July%20Blg%20photos5.jpg?width=600&height=338&name=The%20Pipeline%20July%20Blg%20photos5.jpg)   ## Leave a comment Previous Post Celebrating our women in engineering Next Post Connecting with culture ## Recommended For You [![](https://sustainability.monadelphous.com.au/hubfs/RampUp_July_Blogs6-1.jpg)](https://sustainability.monadelphous.com.au/sustainability-at-monadelphous/celebrating-naidoc-week-2026) [Community](https://sustainability.monadelphous.com.au/sustainability-at-monadelphous/tag/community) [Indigenous Engagement](https://sustainability.monadelphous.com.au/sustainability-at-monadelphous/tag/indigenous-engagement) 1 Min Read ### [Celebrating NAIDOC Week 2025](https://sustainability.monadelphous.com.au/sustainability-at-monadelphous/celebrating-naidoc-week-2026) Each year in July, Monadelphous come together to celebrate NAIDOC Week and the rich history, culture and ...
