Earlier this year, we opened up our Community Grants Program in Darwin, for Monadelphous employees to nominate the sporting clubs, community initiatives and causes important to them.
We caught up with Bob Howieson, NT Operations Manager, and President of Palmerston Power Basketball Club about the impact of the grant for the club.
“The grant has gone towards coaching sessions for our volunteers, ensuring continuous development for all members of the club.”
“The sessions will be delivered by one of Basketball NT’s professional coaches, in person – it’s great for the club!”
The sessions with Basketball NT provide practical knowledge in developing a training squad as well as scalable drills and take-home resources for the club to use on an ongoing basis.
We’re so proud to be able to support the communities in which we operate and where our people live and work.
