The Town of Port Hedland hosted another fun filled community event, with a buzzing turn out of close to 1,000 people coming out to celebrate Welcome to Hedland in June of 2021.

On 28 May, we joined the community to showcase what Monadelphous had to offer the Town.  We loved meeting all the locals, providing giveaways and talking about the work Monadelphous does in the area.

We even built our own mini Monadelphous crane. This little beauty took over 1,200 LEGO pieces to construct, specifically made for an interactive guessing game at our booth.

Now, if you are wondering who has the skills to construct a crane of this proportion, well, that would be one of our highly talented Heavy Lift Engineers, Evelyn Tan! At this rate, I think we may need to nominate her for the 2022 LEGO Masters competition.

Welcome to Hedland, provides businesses, community services, and government agencies to showcase what they offer to the town. This year saw a large turnout, which created an energetic event, after last year had to be hosted in a digital capacity, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
